The laminated charts are 11" X 17". The first chart contains the occipital localizations used in the sacral occipital technique (SOT). Shows the localizations of all the vertebra and how they relate to each other according to Bertrand DeJarnette in his book Reflex Pain. The second chart labels the bones of the pelvis along with the major ligament attachments. The third chart shows the actions of the muscles of the leg and their relationship to the pelvis. The fourth chart shows the importance of the leg muscles in balancing and stabilizing the body.
The images used in the charts are from the early 1900's and bring a turn of the century look to the office. Artwork that is also educational.

Reflex Pain by Major Bertrand DeJarnette was first published in 1934, and the techniques and principles set down then, still apply today. This softcover reprint of that edition should be in the library of every chiropractic and osteopathic student and doctor. The book is 285 pages with many illustrations and is easy to follow and understand.
Brief Introduction
It has been the consensus of opinion amongst doctors that it would take a chronic patient months if not years to recover. In using the Sacro Occipital Technic we have seen chronic patients respond immediately and in many instances have seen one treatment completely restore the patient to health. If the correct thing is done in the correct manner and if enough vitality remains, the patient must respond. We must not treat the segmental spinal area that corresponds to the segmental body area empirically, for often times an area of the spine far removed from the injured segmental body area will be the indicated lesion to correct.
